On Wednesday, May 6, the Faculty of Architecture at Brno University of Technology hosted the committee meeting for the MOPGA 2026 (Make Our Planet Great Again) scientific awards of the French Embassy in the Czech Republic in environmental and climate research. This prestigious event is organized by the French Institute in Prague with the support of BNP Paribas and the Embassy of France in the Czech Republic. The session was chaired by Stéphane Guillot, Scientific Delegate for risk management and sustainable development at the CNRS Directorate.

Selected candidates from Czech universities gave short, intensive presentations on the core of their research and its positive impacts on protecting and improving the planet's climate.

The meeting, held in the inspiring atmosphere of the faculty library, was attended by Mgr. Simona Rozárka Jílková, Ph.D. (RECETOX MUNI), Ing. Jan Bednárek, Ph.D. (VŠB-TUO), and doc. Ing. arch. Jiří Palacký, Ph.D. (FA BUT). The event was coordinated by IFP representatives Stéphanie Legoupy, Scientific Attaché at the French Embassy, and Capucine Martin.
