Ondřej Chybík lecture: Creative Reuse of Cities
Ondrej Chybik (MAS ETH, ARB, RIBA), a founding partner of CHYBIK + KRISTOF Architects, will deliver a lecture on 4 December at 4:00 PM in room 411 at FA VUT.
The lecture topic is Creative Reuse of Cities, which the studio has been exploring for the past 15 years. It operates along a spectrum of interventions - from retrofitting and adaptive reuse to reimagining spaces and even building anew. This approach focuses on improving urban life by renewing neighbourhoods, adding public spaces, reviving forgotten heritage, and creating buildings that serve multiple functions and spark change across entire districts.
