The exhibition of student projects will present proposals for the revitalization of the riverbank of the Kněžná river in Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The site, with its historic and pitorexic character, flanked by a dominant castle and church, offers a number of unused areas and brownfields with potential for further development. Projects focus on creating a cultivated public space with a new promenade, improved access to the water, expanded parkland and pedestrian footbridges. Proposals also include upgrading commercial and transport-service zones, taking into account environmental friendliness and the needs of residents. The solutions were developed by students in collaboration with experts and through an on-site workshop.
