The cooperation between the city of Prostějov and the FA BUT

On October 6, 2025, a significant step was taken in the cooperation between the city of Prostějov and the Faculty of Architecture of BUT. The mayor of the city, František Jura, solemnly signed a framework agreement on a long-term partnership, which aims to connect academic creativity with the development of the urban environment. The event was also attended by Deputy Mayor Jiří Rozehnal.

The newly concluded cooperation bears the motto "Simply Creative" and its first practical form is the outdoor exhibition "Designs for the Chateau - an exhibition exposition through the eyes of students of the Faculty of Architecture of BUT", which is open from today in the courtyard in front of the Prostějov Chateau. The exhibition presents bold concepts of two new sightseeing routes - After the Golden Ribbon and The Illusion of Money and the Power of Time - and connects the city's historical heritage with a modern educational approach.

The exhibition will run until December 7, 2025 and brings inspiration for the further development of the city and its historical monuments.

After the signing of the framework agreement, a tour of the Prostějov Town Hall was prepared for the faculty representatives, which was followed by the opening of the above-mentioned exhibition.
