Dvůr Králové by Train
vložil/a Šmídek Petr, MgA. Ing.arch. PhD. | 09.10.17

At the exhibition Dvůr Králové by Train there are presented 21 selected bachelor theses elaborated at the Department of Spatial Design at the Faculty of Architecture of the Brno University of Technology in the summer semester 2017.

The subject of the bachelor's thesis was to elaborate the architectural and urban design of the new transfer terminal in Dvůr Králové nad Labem. The proposed site is located next to the industrial and shopping area bounded by the 28. října street and the existing railway siding. The terminal will bring together existing bus lines and a new train line using the current siding. Besides its own transport functions, the authors could also design additional functions - shops, post office, police station, and so on. The new terminal should serve as a point of entry into the town, so the students also concentrated on the relationship between the designed area and the town.

Total number of 30 bachelor works was designed under the tuition of:
Ing. BcA. Barbora Ponešová, Ph.D.
Ing. arch. Petra Žalmanová, Ph.D.
Ing. Jiří Marek
Ing. arch. Jan Mléčka, Ph.D.
Ing. arch. Jan Foretník, Ph.D.

The works of Tereza Černá, Petra Klumparová, Lucie Livovská, Nikola Stibůrková, Kristýna Uhrová and Adéla Varmužová were awarded the "Prize of the Mayor".
