"We designed for each object a group of four masses creating thus a common atrium and residence pier nearby water. The final combination of two to three storey bulks makes creates conditions for social life within each villa house and at the same time provides enough privacy in each individual flat. We do not design the system of anonymous flats, but the PLACE with a generous view of the water-level and residence areas in the half-private space."
The villa house is designed as a system of four perpendicular masses. The position of individual boxes is designed so that it provides a direct view on the water-level from each flat in the area.
The central space of the house, the outside atrium, is a certain kind of urban garden. It also acts as a natural air-conditioning. By its natural humidity it contributes to improvement of environment inside the flats in summer time. The atrium is followed up in the direction of the lake water-level by the common pier enabling the direct contact of inhabitants with water.
Each apartment is equipped with an outdoor terrace providing a sufficient view of surrounding landscape. In summer time the glass walls of the flats can be fully open thus making the living-room a generous loggia.
