Roberts Anthony - The New Ancients
Everyone interested in architecture and all that architecture could be is invited to this lecture of an Australian architect Anthony Roberts, tutor from University of Brighton, UK. We would also like to invite students who wish to study in England and those going out for exchange to Brighton in next academic year.
Monday May 4th, 2015, 4:30pm, A411 right after our miniBrownfields studio crit that starts at 1pm. Everyone is invited to come for the crit as well. Our international exchage students will present their project and it will all be presented in English.
Lecture topic:
It’s a new lecture touching on ethics, politics, technology and thinking – almost no design elements at all. It’s premise begins with the pop optimism of archigram and evolves into a more considered argument about what constitutes a possibility of a useful “new” - it’s title (at this moment) is “THE NEW ANCIENTS”.
